There is never a dull moment with Antequera although it may not be one of Spain’s biggest cities or towns. It is however one of the riches historical sites Andalucia has with the best gems and treasures to be discovered. Ancient historical artifacts are plentiful that boast of their existence in 3500 BC. The presence of the Iberian inhabitants is established by the dates on the tombs in the town’s burial site.
